Code of Conduct for Seminar Participants
To foster a respectful and productive learning environment, all participants are expected to abide by the following code of conduct during the seminar:

1. Appropriate Conduct

Speak and act in ways that create a safe and positive environment by showing love, patience, kindness, and humility toward others.

Avoid gossip, harsh criticism, arguments, or any form of verbal or emotional harm.

Refrain from using profanity, including profanity associated with the name of Jesus or God.

2. Respect for All Attendees

Treat each person with dignity, regardless of their background, denomination, beliefs, or level of spiritual maturity.

Listen actively and avoid interrupting or dominating discussions.

3. Sacred Space and Reverence

This seminar is a sacred space for spiritual growth. Please maintain an atmosphere of reverence during times of teaching, discussion, or reflection.

Please silence and put away mobile devices and avoid creating unnecessary distractions during the seminar.​

No outside food is permitted in the seminar room.

No alcoholic beverages are permitted in the seminar room.

Please refrain from using heavily scented perfumes, lotions, etc. as some participants may be allergic to various scents.
4. Confidentiality and Trust

Please respect the privacy of participants. The names of participants, particularly those who may be publicly known, and personal information shared during the seminar should remain within the group unless express permission is given to share otherwise.

Do not post the names of participants, any identifying information, or personal information shared during the seminar on social media sites.

Video or audio recording of the seminar is not permitted.

Taking photographs in the seminar room is not permitted.

5. Hospitality

We welcome all who seek to learn about or grow in Christian spirituality. Discriminatory language or behaviour based on any protected Ontario Human Rights Code grounds or life experience is not acceptable.
6. Responsibility and Accountability

Participants are expected to arrive on time and engage fully with the seminar agenda.

If concerns arise, please speak to the seminar leader in a respectful way.

Abusive or threatening behaviour towards the seminar leader or seminar participants will not be tolerated.
Seminar participants who violate the Code of Conduct may be asked to leave the seminar. No refunds will be provided to participants who have been asked to leave the seminar.
